Lisa Kirshenbaum, DMD
Dr. Lisa Kirshenbaum completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Miami before attending the Boston University School of Dental Medicine for her dental degree, graduating in 1997 with her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD). She continues her training and education yearly to remain up-to-date with her dental knowledge and skills in order to provider her patients with the highest level of care.
Dr. Kirshenbaum is a member of the American Dental Association® and the Georgia Dental Association. She has practiced in the Kennesaw area for over 25 years. As a dentist, she is committed to establishing and maintaining happy and trusting relationships with her patients while providing outstanding care in a comforting family atmosphere.
Dr. Kirshenbaum and her husband, Rob, have three children, Leah, Renee and Ben.
Thomas Shaw III, DDS
Dr. Thomas Shaw completed his Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Florida Southern College, graduating summa cum laude, before earning his Master of Science degree in inorganic chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He attended Emory University School of Dentistry for his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, graduating in 1982. Dr. Shaw regularly completes continuing education courses throughout the year to stay up-to-date on the latest in oral healthcare and to keep his knowledge and skills at the forefront of the dental field. He has concentrated his post-graduated training in the areas of endodontics, oral surgery, implant restorations, orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Shaw’s commitment to continually developing his skills and providing his patients with the highest quality of care has led to his achievement of a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD).

Dr. Shaw practiced for 31 years with the National Health Service Corps, the Florida department of Public Health, a university health center and in a solo practice. He has practiced in the northwest Georgia area for 11 years, including private practices, the Georgia Department of Public Health and as an adjunct professor for the Dental College of Georgia. As a dentist, his goal is to treat his patients as if they were members of his own family, striving to offer them the best and most advanced treatments possible. Dr. Shaw enjoys discussing his patients’ oral health, smile goals, treatment options and how maintaining good oral health can improve their overall health with them.
Dr. Shaw currently lives in Acworth, Georgia. He and his wife have a son in a post-doctoral position at Los Alamos National Laboratory and a cocker spaniel at home. Dr. Shaw is an avid golfer and this has taken over the time he spent hunting and fishing. He can be found practicing, playing and building golf clubs in his spare time.
