Meet Our Team

Jennifer has been with our practice since 1985! She loves our patients and our team, and has extensive experience in both the front and back sides of our office. She is always willing to help where needed and works hard to keep our office running smoothly. Jennifer is also a member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM).

Jennifer and her husband have two daughters and four grandsons. When not in the office, she can be found playing with her grandchildren and spending time with her family and friends.

Denise graduated from a year-and-a-half dental assisting program, and was licensed as DNAB Certified. She joined our practice in May 2023. In over 25 years in the dental field, this is the best practice she was ever worked at! She enjoys being part of a team where everyone is genuinely caring and does their best to help each other. Denise treats each patient like she would want to be treated herself while helping them to improve their health and smile.

Melissa attended Georgia State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management, before joining our team in 2022. She loves getting to know members of our community while helping them change their smiles and their lives. Melissa helps coordinate our patients’ visits, following up on their appointments and ensuring they are always called back when they reach out to us. She loves being on such an incredible career path in the dental field and working with the best doctors and patients.

Melissa and her husband Scott have two children, one son and one daughter. Her hobbies include gardening, hiking, attending jeep events and volunteering.

Sandra joined the Dental Excellence of Kennesaw family in March 2023, and loves being part of a wonderful team where everyone works hard to care for our patients’ needs. She helps keep our practice running smoothly by verifying insurance coverage and keeping dental information up-to-date so we can present patients with their treatment plans at their appointments.

Sandra has been married for 46 years and has three beautiful daughters as well as four grandchildren between the ages of 14 and 20. Outside the office, she loves plants, crafting, baking and being with her family.

Amy attended the Medical College of Georgia, graduating in 1998 with her Associate of Science degree in dental hygiene, and Shorter college, graduating in 2000 with her BSBA degree. She joined our team in October 1998. Amy loves being part of an amazing office where our patients become part of our dental family and where our team genuinely care for and want to help each other succeed. She is committed to delivering the highest quality of care and strives to apply the latest advances in dentistry to give our patients the best possible experience. Her loyalty, honest and trustworthiness help make our patients’ experiences exceptional.

Amy and her spouse have two children and two Boston terriers. When not in the office, Amy can be found spending time with family and friends, watching sports and cheering on her kids.

Tara attended West Georgia Technical College for an information and office management degree, graduating in 1992. She joined our team in March 2010, and loves the personal relationships she has developed with her patients. Tara enjoys being part of an amazing work family and knowing that she has a part in helping others feel good about their smiles.

Tara has three wonderful daughters and four grandchildren. When not in the office, she enjoys Jeep rides on Jeep trails and backroads!

As part of our dental hygienist team, Jana loves making sure each of her patients feels relaxed and comfortable during their hygiene visit. While she cleans their teeth, she asks about their life and hobbies, which helps her identify areas where they can improve in their home hygiene routines. She finds immense gratification in seeing the smile on a patient’s face at a recall visit when she praises their oral health. Jana has a wonderful husband, Francois, and beautiful daughter, Reese, who keep her very busy during her non-work hours. She loves the pool, the beach and time spent with loved ones.
